Castello di Montegioco, Italian Wedding, Anna & Filippo
CASTELLO DI MONTEGIOCO, PALAZZO (AL)
There are weddings that follow a carefully defined palette, and others that transform colour into an emotional language of their own. Anna and Filippo’s celebration, held at the beautiful Castello di Montegioco in the heart of the Monferrato countryside, undoubtedly belonged to the latter. Perched among the rolling hills of the Tortona area, the castle traces its origins back to the seventeenth century and holds more than four hundred years of history within its walls. Built during the second half of the 1600s and owned over time by noble families including the Opizzoni, Malaspina, and Busseti, it still preserves the timeless charm of an Italian aristocratic residence, suspended between elegance and memory. On one of the hottest days of the summer, Anna and Filippo chose to tell their story through a delicate multicolour palette of soft pastel tones and thoughtful details that felt surprising without ever being excessive. It was a refined balance, beautifully orchestrated by Simone Todisco, the coordinator and event designer behind the entire celebration. Anna wore a romantic gown by Le Spose di Andrea, featuring soft puff sleeves that added both character and lightness to her silhouette. On her feet were the iconic Loeffler Randall shoes, the perfect meeting point between contemporary style and femininity. The ceremony became one of the most powerful moments of the day. Perhaps because of the intense summer heat, every emotion seemed heightened: lingering glances, unexpected tears, hands instinctively reaching for one another. It was an authentic and deeply heartfelt exchange of vows, capable of moving everyone present. For the reception, guests gathered around a striking imperial table adorned with floral arrangements by Heliantus Flower. Among blooms in soft, nuanced shades and carefully considered details, it was the table lamps placed along the length of the setting that truly caught the eye. An unusual and sophisticated choice, they transformed dinner into an intimate and almost theatrical experience, suspended in time. As the sun faded and evening settled over the castle, the atmosphere shifted. The lights dimmed, the DJ set the tone for the night, and the dance floor quickly filled with friends and family ready to celebrate Anna and Filippo with the same energy, warmth, and joy that had defined every moment of the day. A wedding that was colourful yet delicate, elegant without formality, and profoundly emotional. A celebration that reminds us that the most authentic beauty is found in the meeting of thoughtful details and people who choose, quite simply, to be themselves.
