We celebrated Bridgette and Luca’s welcome dinner in the form of a relaxed aperitivo, set within an atmosphere that felt both elegant and effortlessly social. A wonderfully warm and easygoing couple, they bring together a rich cultural mix: he is of Italian Swiss heritage, and she is Canadian. This international background was reflected throughout the evening, starting from their understated yet refined sense of style, and extending to the beautifully diverse and multicultural outfits worn by their guests. Everyone moved freely through the elegant Italian gardens of the Relais San Maurizio, one of the most exclusive venues in Piedmont, located in the hills of Santo Stefano Belbo. A place deeply connected to Italian literary history, as it is also the birthplace of the writer Cesare Pavese, whose presence seems to still linger in the landscape and atmosphere of the region. The relais are also known for its proximity to the striking chapel featuring the contemporary fresco work of David Tremlett, a piece that beautifully dialogues with the surrounding hills and enhances the poetic identity of the area. As glasses were raised and conversations flowed naturally through the garden, the evening unfolded with a quiet sense of intimacy and cosmopolitan ease, where every detail contributed to a feeling of effortless harmony.
The wedding of Bridgette and Luca at Relais San Maurizio was one of those rare occasions where every element seemed to fall naturally into place, effortless on the surface, yet impeccably orchestrated behind the scenes. The entire event was guided by event planner Roberta Cavaliere, whose refined vision and calm direction shaped the day with remarkable sensitivity, transforming an already extraordinary location into a seamless and deeply cohesive experience.The ceremony took place outdoors, bathed in the warm light of a Piedmont summer. A delicate aisle design created by La Fiorellaia framed the moment with an understated yet powerful floral language. White blooms, hydrangeas, and roses flowed gently along the path, creating a composition that felt both natural and sculptural. The bridesmaids brought a contemporary twist to the aesthetic with pastel palettes that were anything but predictable, modern, refined, and perfectly balanced within the landscape. The stationery designed by Laura’s Palette echoed the same visual philosophy, adding a subtle and cohesive layer of elegance throughout the event.
The bride herself was radiant and full of personality, effortlessly warm and genuinely funny, bringing lightness and authenticity to every moment of the day, even the most formal ones.The culinary experience by Guido da Costigliole, with Ugo Alciati, elevated the wedding to an exceptional level, while Claudia Zambello’s work on hair and makeup maintained a natural, sophisticated elegance that perfectly aligned with the spirit of the celebration. Music and lighting by Daniele Pavignano subtly guided the emotional rhythm of the day, building atmosphere with precision and sensitivity without ever overwhelming the space. The film by Giancarlo De Vita captured everything with a discreet, narrative eye, preserving the emotional truth and nuance of the celebration. The result was a wedding that felt elegant yet never rigid, warm yet never excessive, shaped by a perfectly aligned team working in harmony toward a shared vision.
