I was born and raised in Turin with a natural inclination for all things creative. No one ever handed me a camera saying, “this is your path” – if anything, they were more likely to tell me to find a real job.

After high school, I found myself at a classic crossroads: Musical Paleography in Cremona (still not entirely sure what that is) or the Istituto Europeo di Design in Torino. Guess what? My dad decided that investing in a private school and keeping me close to home was the best choice.

So, at 19, just a month before starting at IED, I picked up my first camera. A roll of black-and-white film bought in Nichelino, Kodak BN 400 CN, an automatic Canon EOS 750, and a good dose of recklessness. I went to Stupinigi, shot on my own, and when I developed the photos, my adrenaline was through the roof. From that moment on, I never stopped… and luckily so, because the alternative was musical paleography.

Since 2004, the year I graduated, I started working as an assistant for various photography studios. During those years, I figured out what I liked (and definitely didn’t like) about the wedding industry, what kind of clients were right for me and which absolutely weren’t, and I shaped my own taste – which, in the end, is just an extension of my personal style.

I’ve always felt I could offer a personal perspective in everything I do. I’m drawn to imperfect things – which, to me, makes them perfect in their own way. I love authenticity, diversity, and the simplicity of living.

Love and the desire for truth guide the way I move through the world.

Alongside photography, I also practice and teach yoga with a trauma-informed approach.
